About Us

Ballarat & District Veterans Golf Association was formed in 1984.

The first President was Fred Richardson, Secretary / Treasurer was Digger Schowel . Captain was Les Fimmel .

​There is no minute books on file from the start of 1984 until the AGM on the 7th of February 1991. This meeting was opened by President Mr R (Bob) Reynolds, it was moved by T Spencer and seconded by K Penny that the committee stay the same as last season. ; President, R. Reynolds. Vice President, J. Deveson , Captain. L. Fimmel, Vice Captain. L. Barlow. Secretary/Treasurer, F. Luke and the Committee G. Richardson and F. Richardson.

The Association holds 12 events each year as well as inter-Association visits. Courses played include Buninyong, Ballarat, Chalambar, Midlands, Beaufort, Maryborough, Clunes , Talbot, Mt Xavier ,Hepburn Springs golf clubs.

The Association is a very friendly group and anyone over the age of 55 with a current Golf Australia handicap is eligible to join. Membership is $20
